I was blessed with the opportunity to visit the Burke Williams Spa in Orange. I decided to go with the 50-minute Pure Relaxation Massage with a Dot.Com Enhancement. I opted for the Dot.Com Enhancement because I work hunched over a computer 50+ hours a week and wanted to really work out that extra tension in my back. I arrived an hour or so before my appointment to relish in all of the amenities that come with a treatment at Burke Williams. I soaked in the whirlpool, spent some time in the steam room and ended it all by sweating out some toxins in the sauna. By the time I was done with my routine it was time for my appointment. My therapist, Toni, took the time to walk me through the Dot.Com Enhancement before she began. The Dot.Com enhancement was very technical but I felt the stress leaving my back almost immediately. After Toni completed the enhancement portion of my massage she moved onto the “pure relaxation” which nearly sent me into a bliss-induced coma. Once my massage was over, Toni stepped out of the room as I slipped into my now delightfully warm robe and sipped on their signature water. I met Toni in the hallway who recommended I see her again for an 80-minute deep tissue massage and I plan on taking her up on that offer as soon as possible.
After your massage you can continue to use the above mentioned amenities, take a shower, use the vanity, or even step into the quiet room for a post-treatment detox of pure silence. My only real recommendation is that you look at yourself in the mirror before heading back out into the lobby – I hadn’t realized that after changing back into my clothes directly after massage that my hair was a complete mess and my makeup was running! I looked at it as a sure sign of a relaxing time 😉
